Acronyms – Group Wordplay Activity
- In advance, write a series of acronyms on a set of index cards (one per card.)
- Or, download a set of Print+Play Acronym cards from the Resources tab.
- Place the pile of cards – face down – in view of your group.
- Flip the first acronym card over.
- Ask your group to identify one or more common phrases that match the acronym.
- Encourage creative or humorous suggestions, when appropriate.
- Continue flipping cards.
