KentARA. (Kent Active Retirement Association) The Aim of the Association is to keep retired and semi-retired members active and happy, plus reducing loneliness. Every club runs independently offering a variety of activities, for instance, monthly meetings with either a speaker or entertainer, games afternoon, day trips, holidays, lunch clubs, 10 pin bowling, short mat bowls and much more. The clubs are run entirely by volunteers. Most ARAs raise money for their own designated Charity through the activities that they organise. We are always looking for new towns or villages to set up new clubs, and the KentARA Executive Committee are always willing to help those who would like to start an ARA.
