Play and Chat

Play and Chat is a parent/guardian and toddler group run by volunteers from St Paul’s church, Parkwood, Rainham, ME8 9PN, in which it meets. Sessions run on Thursday mornings from 10:15am to 11:45am. The price for entry is £2:00 per family per session, and it runs during school term time. Refreshments are built into the price and include fruit squash and biscuits, together with tea or coffee for the parents/guardians. There are lots of toys available for the children to share/play with. The church and volunteers do their best to provide a safe environment for children to play in but parents/guardians remain responsible for the safety of children in their charge. In addition to toys there are craft sessions each year, usually at the end of each term. There is also a party in the lead up to Christmas, for which there is a separate charge.
