Remembrance and Thanksgiving service for a pilot who crashed and was killed there in 1940. There is a beautiful stone memorial at the farm. The service this year is on Sunday 14th September at 2.30 pm. The service is usually well attended with the Mayor of Faversham, cadets from the ATC Squadrons from Faversham and Canterbury as well as our members and representatives from other local RAFA and RBL branches. The pilot was dual nationality (British and Swiss) so part of the service is in French.
